Remember Me
“Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.”

Ecclesiastes 12:1
“For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. “Remembrance” is a noun, but it is based on the action verb, “remember” -- to “have in or be able to bring to one's mind an awareness of”. As children, some of us were told to “remember who you are and whose you are”. As one man said, “to memorialize is to honor”…
