Jesus, our Brother
I was pondering the story of the prodigal son the other day and wondered what it might have been like if there was a brother in the story like Jesus. Perhaps a third brother, or just the older brother being a Jesus-like brother.
There is a basis for this idea. Jesus is described as our brother in Romans 8:29 and Hebrews 2:11, 12, 17, and in many places we are described as being co-heirs with Jesus. So, how might that story have been different?
